Quick Tip: Removing Natural Nail Polish

I wanted to share a quick tip with those of you who are using any of our natural nail polish brands such as Acquarella or Scotch Naturals.

If you are ingredients-conscious and are opting to avoid chemical filled polishes, then you are most likely choosing to avoid toxic nail polish removers.  This is a great choice!

Using a gentle nail polish remover is a bit different that that strong-smelling $1 bottle of nail polish that requires ventilation to use.

  • The first thing I would like you to do is just soak your hands in some warm water for a minute.
  • Saturate a cotton pad with nail polish remover and apply to nails, letting them moisten for a bit.
  • After letting remover soak in for a moment, sweep away with the cotton pad.
  • If you have any residue, you can gently rub off with an orangewood stick.
  • Wash hands in warm water and pat dry.

Acquarella Nail Polish Moisturizer actually uses aloe vera, Sodium PCA, Green Tea, and Vitamin C to nourish the nails as it removes polish.

Scotch Naturals Polish Remover and Hopscotch Kids Polish Remover are both water-based removers using non-ionic surfactants.

Speaking of removing your natural nail polish, I want to remind you that YOU can win one of our fabulous natural nail polish products! Don't forget to vote on your favorite color for a chance to win one of your own.
