Scrub yourself smooth

I'm on a desert vacation this week and showing a lot more skin than I have been in months. So, I've definitely been thinking about polishing up my body so it looks a little more radiant. Also, smoothing it will help alleviate some of the itching and dryness I get from changing climes—where I live is moist, because we're by the water, and the desert just sucks out all that great hydration. But, when you scrub away the thick outer layer of dead skin cells, this allows moisturizing body lotion or oil to better penetrate the skin so it's more supple and hydrated. Exfoliating is also important if you get ingrown hairs from shaving or waxing, as it helps loosen them so the irritated skin can heal.

I have to confess, because I'm on a trip, I'm probably going to hit a nearby spa to get a body smoothing treatment. But you can easily get a spa-quality exfolation at home with the right products. Nature's Basin sells an organic body scrub from Inara, Organic Sugar Rub, that's actually used in some of the finest spas. Made with organic sugar, it won't sting after shaving like salt scrubs do. And, since it dissolves more quickly than salt, the rough granules don't last as long and the treatment is less abrasive. But no less effective: Sugar contains natural glycolic acid, an exfoliating ingredient found in many cleansers and peels.

Be sure to follow any scrub treatment with a good moisturizing rub (Inara has a body oil in the same delicate, delicious scent), and scrub your skin with a light touch rather than an aggressive one. The sugar granules and natural acids will do the work so you don't have to.

Everyday Makeup and Its Looking Beautiful

For an every day look you don't want to appear overly done up, like you are trying too hard. If you are a teacher at a school, a professional 9 - 5 working lady, a grad school student, a stay-at-home-and-very-busy mom, or someone who volunteers her time for worthy causes, you want a look that looks stylish but is really only showing people how beautiful you "naturally" are.

It's important for a woman to feel beautiful and confident at all times and following is an every day makeup routine that will make you look and feel just that!

Moisturize, Moisturize
Make sure you never forget your every day Moisturizing Day Treatment - it is so important for your skin to look healthy and radiant, even before you wear your make up. And the healthiest skin is the best hydrated one.

Flawless skin with the Finest Foundation
For an every day makeup, we often do not have the time to apply a foundation and a concealer separately. You want something that works quick and it is easy to use. Creme Deluxe Foundation is a perfect 2 in 1 that can be carried in the purse at all times. Its not a liquid foundation so you dont need those steady hands or the right proportion to apply. You dont need to be in front of your dressing room mirror working carefully, you can be in your car, on the metro or in a train and use this easily to touch your face up.

How to Apply Perfect Eye Makeup Everyday
You need three eyeshadows, lightest to darkest. Depending on your skin tone pick these three and keep them on your dressing room counter for the week. Natural Makeup Eye Shadow has perfect shades for all skin tones and they include the finest natural ingredients...ooh you'll love them! Let's suppose your chosen colors are Beige, Gold and Charcoal. Take Beige and apply it evenly all over the lid from right under the brows till the upper lid lashes. Now take the gold and sweep it across your lids for that lovely shine. You will already notice how your eyes will pop right open, making you look fresh! Now take a flat eye shadow brush with some charcoal shadow on it and line it across your upper lid. It will give the perfect natural lining to your eyes. Take a smudge brush and brush a little on the corners of your eyes and re-apply if you want to make it darker.

PS: Personally I don't like using eye liner pencils during the day time - they can tend to look very stark, something you want to pull off during the evenings. But if you just can't step out of the house without an eyeliner, then I suggest Christopher Drummond's cream to powder eye liner.

Mascara Makes Your Eyes Pop!
Instead of eye liners, what I prefer on an every day look are mascaras. My favorite is Nvey Eco's Moisturizing Mascara for richer eye lashes that look very natural too. Longer, thicker eye lashes immediately make your eyes pop - something I enjoy even without any other eye makeup.

Bronzer is a Girl's Best Friend
I have a confession to make. I can't live without Natural Makeup Bronzing Powder. It brings an instant radiance to my skin, illuminating it where I need it most - the cheeks and the T-zone. You want the flawless skin look that models have and bronzers are the secret.

PS: I use bronzers after applying eye makeup because when I apply eye make up and rest my hands on the cheeks, I dont want to spoil the makeup on my face

Beautiful Lips Everyday
The best lipstick is the one that matches your lip color. Natural Makeup Lip Stain - Coral Reef will suit every lip color and every skin tone. Top it off with the Natural Makeup Lip Gloss for a natural sheen.

PS: Sometimes applying lip gloss underneath the lipcolor works well too - either way, lip glosses keep the lips moisturized while maintaining the color longer.

So here it goes...moisturizer, foundation, eye colors that compliment your skin tone, the finest mascara, one lip color that's your favorite and a lip gloss - pack these in a bag because they will come in handy every day! Enjoy looking beautiful!

Brows beautiful

It's tough to know just how much to tweeze your brows. Some people get crazy with it, because once you take out a hair, it can be hard to stop. I admit, there's something addictive about it (and I've totally been there). But be warned, it can take 3 to 9 weeks for eyebrow hairs to grow back out.

And the truth is, thin isn't in when it comes to brows, and never should have been. What is in fashion, and hopefully always will be: A natural brow that climbs gradually straight to your true arch, then turns slightly down as it approaches the outside corner of your eye. So, how do you have some restraint when it comes to shaping your own brows? I like to actually apply my brow tint before I tweeze.

Nature's Basin now sells a great new organic eyebrow definer by Christopher Drummond Beauty. They even have brow color for blonds! Use a small amount of this cream-to-powder natural makeup on an angled brush to shape your brows how you like them. Then, unless your hair is very dark, you should have an exact road map of what to tweeze: The hairs that need clean-up will stick out like sore thumbs beneath the bulk of your tinted, expertly shaped brow.

And don't forget, the best time to tweeze is after your shower, because your follicles have been steamed open and many hairs will just slide right out. Good luck, and happy plucking!
